Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of pmuvision.com and your participation in the PMU Vision Cup 2026 International Online Championship. By creating an account or entering the contest, you accept them.
Last updated 8 August 2026
Who these terms are with
This agreement is between you and PMU Vision Cup ("we", "us"), the organiser of the contest, reachable at info@pmuvision.com.
The contest rules are part of these terms
The contest rules cover entry standards, ownership of submitted work, disqualification and the organiser's discretion. You accept them explicitly before paying, and they apply alongside everything on this page. Where the rules and these terms overlap, both apply; if they genuinely conflict, the contest rules govern the conduct of the contest.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. The contest is open internationally. You are responsible for making sure that entering is lawful where you live.
Your account
Give accurate details and keep them up to date. Keep your password to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. One account per person; entering the same work through multiple accounts is grounds for disqualification. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access to your account.
Entry fees and payment
Each category you enter carries an entry fee, shown at checkout before you pay, in US dollars. Where several categories are bought together, or a valid discount code applies, the total shown at checkout is the amount you will be charged. Payment is taken by Stripe or PayPal; the entry can be uploaded once payment has been confirmed.
Discount codes are valid once per participant and may be withdrawn or changed at any time before they are used.
Your material and the rights you grant
You keep ownership of everything you submit. You confirm that you either created the work and hold the rights to the photographs and video, or have the explicit permission of the photographer and of the model or client shown.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use your submitted material for judging, on the contest website, and in promotional material including social media posts about the contest. This licence continues after the contest ends so that results and past editions remain publishable. You may ask us to stop using a specific item promotionally and we will do so as far as we reasonably can, but material already published in print or in third-party reposts may remain in circulation.
Judging
Entries are judged anonymously against the criteria published for each category. Judges see the work, not the artist. Scores and results are final: we do not re-open judging, and we do not disclose individual judges' scores or comments beyond what the platform shows you.
We may reject an entry that does not meet its category's requirements, reassign an entry to a more appropriate category or level, and disqualify an entry at any stage if we find it to be fake, AI-generated, taken from another artist, or otherwise in breach of the rules.
Prizes
Prizes are those announced for this edition of the contest. Unless we state otherwise, prizes are not exchangeable for cash. Winners are responsible for any taxes or duties that apply to a prize where they live, and for supplying the details needed to deliver it.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to identify judges' scores, contact judges about your entry, interfere with judging, probe or bypass the platform's security, upload malware, scrape the site, or submit anyone else's work as your own. We may suspend or close an account that does any of this, without refund.
Availability
We work to keep the platform available and the submission deadlines realistic, but the service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not responsible for a failure of your own internet connection, device or browser. If a platform fault of ours prevents you from submitting before a deadline, tell us and we will extend it for you.
Our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the contest is limited to the entry fees you have paid. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost business or lost opportunity. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the contest rules. Refunds in either case follow the refund policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States of America, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in a country whose law gives you rights that cannot be excluded by agreement, this does not take those rights away.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and we will notify participants by email about changes that materially affect an entry already paid for.
